THE CHALLENGE

Boston Brewing Co. have a mission to power their operations with clean and reliable energy in order to reduce their carbon emissions. The brewery experienced increased power needs required to meet their production requirements within time and budget constraints. This constraint, coupled with the company’s mission, drove their decision to power their facility with off-grid renewable energy.

OUR SOLUTION

Unlimited Energy Australia conducted a feasibility study to address the brewery's requirements and advice to install a hybrid solar/battery off-grid renewable energy system which was commissioned in July 2024 for Boston Brewing Co. in Denmark – WA. The system consists of a 302kWp Solar PV and 320kWh / 320kW Tesvolt Battery Energy Storage System stored in a 20’ container to power the facility with cost-effective green energy for most of the day.

 

The German Tesvolt technology was installed by Innovative Energy Systems with a diesel generator backup and Tesvolt Energy Management System.

 

Unlimited Energy Australia started with a concept design and feasibility study in order to;

• address any concerns about renewable energy performance

• identify a detailed and tailor-made engineering solution delivering an optimal economic outcome

• enable Boston Brewing Co. to make an informed decision to power their operations sustainably and economically

• sketch out a clear pathway to transition to renewable energy and to meet carbon reduction targets
